After years of buying the usual American waygu, cross bred with Angus, I was excited to come across pure black waygu at Wiens. We held our breath and ordered the eight filets package and hoped for the best....i grilled them for two minutes and fifteen seconds on each side in a small size Big Green Egg, then rested five minutes for a perfect medium rare. Oh. My. God. They were delicious. Tender. Juicy. Every single bite was a rich delight. I really want to get through to you how excellent this beef was. We have had genuine A5 imported Japanese waygu many times(the best thing in the world), at astronomical price, and there has been nothing short of that, that has been better than this Wiens Waygu. I will be placing another order not that far in the future, and will also try their ribeyes, along with more filets... I think SRV and A.B have seen their last orders from me for their American waygu. Wiens is my family's new source for fantastic steaks. I give our whole hearted recommendation for their customer service and their beef!

We heard there was an opportunity to buy wagyu beef at the Old Town Farmers market and knew we wanted to be the first people there to get the best cuts of ribeye available. The owners were very helpful with helping me pick out two very good ribeyes. We cooked them that evening and have to say it was the most tender, juicy steak I have ever had! Thank you for bringing Wagyu to wichita ks! Keep up the great work!
